Has anyone tried Star Walk?
STAR WALK ($5): A jaw-dropping astronomy app. Hold the iPad toward the night sky and it labels everything. You can also preview the movement of tonight’s sky, or witness a particular night sky from centuries ago. Star Walk is billed as an educational app, but it’s as entertaining as anything on the market.

Math Test
Your student is completing the pre-test for chapter 2 as a review and study guide for our test on Thursday. We went over the odd questions today in class and will complete the even problems tomorrow. Please spend a little time asking your child to explain how they found the solution to 3 or 4 of these problems, helping them to prepare for our test. They are doing a great job comparing and rounding numbers. Students enjoy finding the value of the mystery or unknown number.
